Review: I liked that this is one of the easier home karaoke machines to set up and use. The volume on this karaoke system by singing machine could be louder though, but for this price, the smg-137 is perfect for the family and as a karaoke machine for kids.

From the beginning, it could not read certain Karoake discs. Some it could read, some it could not, others it would garble.

We returned it the next day.
Bad sound – mic couldn’t be heard over the music, until you turned it up to distorted, hissing levels. We returned this item.

did not work
the machine sent did not play. I waited, reset it, even put in the demo cd that was sent with the machine…did not play. looked nice.

Not loud enough
We use this product at our church to play accompaniment CDs. It is not loud enough to be used in our sanctuary and the sanctuary is not that big.

Poor customer service with this company

Cheap Junk
Got this for my daughter for Christmas. It worked for 2 weeks and then just quit – power problem. I got a replacement from Amazon and right out of the box, it didn’t work…
