How To Mix An Audio File (karaoke) With Microphone Input?

I want to record a song with a karaoke (wav or mp3) file using microphone input. I am using windows xp sp2. Are thete any softwares avaialabel for free for this? Or how can I do this please suggest.

    Download Audacity – it is free, legal, and can do a lot.
