    Karaoke CDs with lyrics come in a different format from normal music CDs and are hard to find and more expensive. I’m sure you’ve discovered that often the songs you want aren’t available in karaoke format.

    There’s a simple way to create karaoke CDs on your computer. These CD+G karaoke discs of your favorite songs will display lyrics and run on your Home Karaoke Machine.

    You’ll need an MP3, wav, or mid file of your song.  You’ll also need a text file of the lyrics.  You can look up the lyrics to almost any song on Google.  Donload a CD+G karaoke song creator program and run your files through to make a CD + G song.
    The next step is to burn your CD +G songs to CD.  Not all burning software support CD+G discs.  Nero 9
    is a popular burning suite that supports CD+G burning.

    Your disc should run on your Home Karaoke Machine and display your songs’ lyrics.  For even more control, you can remove the vocals from the songs with special software or change the pitch and tempo of the music.  Some karaoke machines such as The Singing Machine STVG-718 do this automatically, but if yours doesn’t, you’ll need to manually edit your songs and burn a new CD.
